As We Climb Through

Greetings from this other side of the world....where a gentle flow of water from a giant silk-cotton tree forms a mysterious river that cuts across towns and villages. Man living in a world full of mysteries.
The life is like a wall, with some of us born on the wrong side of the wall. Climbing we have been all our lives....but it seems the more we climb the higher it goes.
Burning the midnight oil....as we search through the pages of the soft-white slate....in search of knowledge that could form the steps with which we climb to the top. Tilling the soil....even as we destroy the homes of the termites and ants.....in search of treasures that could take us to the other side of the wall. But it seems the more we search the less we find.
In the midst of the toiling and hustling....we, out of selfless love and duty, let ourselves be a climbing system for others to get to the top of the wall....only to be gazing endlessly at the sky....as we wait for the rope to be let down.....but it seems the more we gaze the less we see.
We set out to climb, daily, with our climbing tools. Clinging tight to every little edge we can find, so we don't miss our steps, else we fall....but even when we fall we pick ourselves up again.
The goal is to get to the other side of the wall....where men live in luxuries and roam in gold cloaks. Even as fate has some there....most of which know not how it is like on this side of the wall.
I lay down my head to rest....but for a while. For tomorrow is another day, to set out my tools to work. Climbing without being weary; without giving up, because the top of the wall is where we have been destined for by the maker. He, gifted us all the tools needed to get us to the top, left us alone....and since then man has been set out to work.
From thy hands O Lord we draw our strength. Guide our steps as we climb through. So we do not walk on thorns only to end up in a desert🙏.
